The principle of biological treatment is derived from the natural processing procedure. By the nature of microorganisms in natural waters, the characteristics of organic substances can be effectively decomposed, and the metabolism of microorganisms can be removed by engineering to improve the solubility and colloidal organic matter in waste (soil) water. The removed organic matter is converted into biomass, which are separated by sedimentation and sludge removal.
The organic matter (BOD, COD) in the water is removed, and nonsettleable colloidal solids are coagulated and precipitated to obtain a clear discharge water.
Remove traces of toxic substances.
Remove nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus.
Minimize the amount of sludge produced.
Enable water and sludge to be used effectively.
