UV Advanced Oxidation
UV Advanced Oxidation (treatment of general chemical and biologically difficult to decompose water quality)
  1. Using specific wavelengths of ultraviolet light, organic matter (macromolecules, long chains, benzene rings, heterocycles, etc.) absorb enough energy to be converted into higher energy levels of free radical molecules.
  2. Under the irradiation of a specific wavelength, hydrogen peroxide is photolyzed into two hydroxyl radicals, which can react rapidly with organic and inorganic substances in water.
  3. A number of different oxidation reactions ultimately convert organic impurities into CO2 and H2O, and the intermediate product of oxygen-containing functional groups is significantly increased in the reaction. These intermediate products contain one or more -OH, =O, COOH- functional groups which generally exhibit less toxicity than the initial organics and have a higher bioavailability.
    In short, the long-chain, benzene ring and heterocyclic macromolecules are broken into small molecules and contain oxygen-containing functional groups by the specific wavelength of ultraviolet light under the synergistic action of H2O2. The oxygen-containing functional group has high biodegradability, and the small molecules are mostly low-boiling substances, and the evaporability is good.
  4. The bioavailability after wastewater treatment can be greatly improved (up to 95%), almost no sludge (no secondary pollution), high reliability, automatic control and remote monitoring, which greatly saves labor costs.
