Activated Carbon
The main component of activated carbon is carbon, and is mixed with a small amount of hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and other substances. The activated carbon body is black and complex porous material, and the activated carbon material is diversified. Coal, peat, etc. are all pre-made raw materials for carbon. When the activated carbon is heated at a temperature of several hundred degrees Celsius, the material is thermally decomposed to release volatile water and become a carbonized product. After that, the activated carbon and the carbonization process are used to produce activated carbon. The activated carbon raw materials are diversified, and there is coal. Oil, wood or coconut shells, etc. But currently commercial activated carbon is mostly made up of wood, coconut shells and coal, with coal being the largest.
Currently in shape and use, it can be divided into:

1. Power Activated Carbon (PAC):
   The powdered activated carbon is a process in which the activated carbon is first pulverized and then sieved in the preparation process. Powdered activated carbon has a large specific surface area and a short diffusion distance, and has a fast adsorption rate and a slow mass transfer rate. Therefore, it is commonly used in liquid phase adsorption pollutants and air pollution control equipment for wastewater treatment. Dioxin's treatment.
2. Granular Activated Carbon (GAC):
   Granular activated carbon particles are large and difficult to block. They are the most widely used and widely used activated carbon, and are commonly used for purification of wastewater or tap water.
3. Spherical or Cylindrical Activated Carbon (SAC or CAC):
   The preparation process of cylindrical activated carbon is a process of grinding, smelting, squeezing, forming, drying, etc., and finally through carbonization and activation.
   The steps are prepared and generally used for adsorbing gases.
4. Impregnated Activated Carbon (IAC):
    The activated carbon is impregnated into a chemical such as KOH or S solution.
5. Activated Coal Fiber (ACF)：
   The activated carbon is made into an elongated fiber and woven into a fibrous nonwoven fabric. It can be made into non-woven fabrics, corrugated sheets and honeycomb structures, and is currently used in air pollution control equipment.
